About the Artwork - Life is a game, someone once told me. I remember those words vividly because they have become the guiding principle of my life. When I make a painting, I strive to win the game with ease, as too much seriousness can lead to all kinds of blockages.
I see the canvas as a playground where I can arrange colors without fear or thoughts. They flow together like a river of artistic creation. I don't have a destination in mind when I start painting. I just paint and see where it takes me.
Sometimes it takes a long time before I declare a painting "done." Is there a moment when I know that if I choose to continue, the painting will get lost in perfectionism. And that's something I try to avoid. When I play, I have nothing to lose. Everything seems simple, no matter how difficult it is.
When I paint, I like to stand up, move, and see the canvas from different angles. When I sit, the creative flow also sits. I move and try to reproduce that movement in my paintings. Movement is life, and where there is life, there is evolution.
Abstract art is emotion, and I pour my emotions onto the canvas. Whoever wants to know me should look carefully at my paintings because they are a reflection of who I am.
Sometimes, I express my inner turmoil and struggles through the black lines in my paintings. The white color represents the hope and light that I seek in the midst of darkness. To create a sense of calmness and tranquility, I use the blue color, which reflects my desire for peace. On the other hand, the red color symbolizes my emotional intensity and passion, bringing energy to my work.
This painting would be a great addition to any living room that has a green and blue color scheme. These colors would complement the green and blue hues in the painting, creating a sense of harmony and balance. The black and white colors in the painting would add a touch of drama to the room, while the red color would create a focal point, drawing the eye towards the painting.
I believe that painting is not just about putting colors on a canvas. It's about expressing oneself through colors, textures, and movement. When I paint, I am not just creating art. I am creating a story that is waiting to be told. And that's what makes my paintings unique.
